THE BALANCE residential treatment in Mallorca and Zurich takes place in a private residence dedicated to one admitted client. The environment provides space for clinical appointments, meals, rest, movement, personal support, and the ordinary moments in which treatment is integrated.

The residence is selected for the individual engagement and should be confirmed before arrival. Photography may communicate the character of the settings, but no image should imply that a particular property, view, room, or feature is guaranteed unless it is included in writing.

Comfort and privacy can make sustained treatment more possible. They do not determine clinical quality and should not become the main reason a residence is presented.

A Clinical Living Environment

A residence must support both treatment and ordinary living. It needs suitable private space, areas for conversation and meals, reliable practical operations, and an environment in which access can be controlled.

The team may use different spaces for psychotherapy, medical or psychiatric consultation, family work, movement, and quiet time. Some external appointments still require travel to an independent provider.

The full program is described on Private Residential Treatment.

One Admitted Client

The residence is not shared with another unrelated treatment client. This protects privacy and allows the rhythm of the household to follow one plan rather than the competing needs of a group.

A partner, relative, child, assistant, or security professional may sometimes be present by agreement. Their role, accommodation, access, and information boundaries must be assessed and stated. The presence of an entourage should not overwhelm the treatment environment.

The delivery principle belongs to One Client at a Time.

How a Residence Is Selected

  • Clinical and practical fit for the intended treatment
  • Privacy, access, and any verified security requirements
  • Mobility, accessibility, and physical-health needs
  • Space for the agreed team and appointments
  • Companion, family, assistant, or security arrangements
  • Dietary, kitchen, pet, technology, and communication needs
  • Proximity to relevant medical, hospital, and transport services
  • Current availability and the written scope of the engagement

A preference can be considered, but safety, capability, and availability determine what can be confirmed.

Mallorca Residences

Mallorca may provide greater distance from familiar demands, outdoor space, and a quieter rhythm. The island setting should be presented as a clinical context rather than a retreat itinerary.

The specific residence, access, transport time, medical pathway, and available features vary. Activities associated with leisure should not dominate the clinical page or be implied as standard inclusions.

Zurich Residences

Zurich may suit clients who need proximity to Swiss medical providers, international transport, family, or European professional responsibilities. The residence still provides a protected treatment environment rather than a hotel base for an unchanged schedule.

Exact proximity to hospitals, specialists, and diagnostics depends on the residence and the providers involved. Relationships should be named only when current and documented.

Privacy, Access, and Staff Presence

The residence access plan may cover team members, household staff, visitors, deliveries, drivers, companions, and security. The client should know who may enter and when, while operational details that would compromise safety should not be published broadly.

Staff presence varies by role, time, plan, and location. A private residence should not be described as continuously medically staffed unless that exact arrangement has been verified.

Detailed privacy and security standards belong to Privacy, Discretion and Security.

Technology and Communication

Reliable connectivity may be necessary for family, work, or continuing care. Device and internet access are nevertheless considered within the treatment plan. Constant availability can undermine sleep, privacy, and engagement.

Cybersecurity needs associated with sensitive roles should be discussed before arrival. THE BALANCE should distinguish residence Wi-Fi and ordinary device support from specialist cybersecurity services.

Working arrangements are detailed on Working During Treatment.

What Must Be Confirmed in Writing

The proposal should identify the residential location, material features needed for the client, occupancy arrangement, included household support, and any agreed companion or security requirements. It should also state what is representative, subject to change, or charged separately.

If an unavoidable property change occurs, the replacement should be assessed for the same essential clinical, accessibility, privacy, and practical needs. The client should be informed promptly.

General web photography and descriptive copy never replace the individual agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the client have the residence alone?

The residence is dedicated to one admitted treatment client. Agreed companions or support people may sometimes be present, but another unrelated treatment client is not part of THE BALANCE model.

Can I choose the exact residence?

Preferences can be considered, but clinical fit, accessibility, privacy, team needs, location, and availability determine what can be confirmed.

Are website photographs exact?

They may be representative unless specifically identified and confirmed. A particular residence, room, view, pool, or feature should not be assumed from general photography.

Can family stay in the residence?

Possibly, by prior agreement and when clinically appropriate. Accommodation, timing, boundaries, privacy, and fees must be confirmed.

Are pets permitted?

Pet arrangements depend on the property, animal, travel requirements, clinical context, allergies, safety, and advance approval. They should not be assumed.

Is the residence medically staffed?

No general claim should be assumed. Staff and clinical availability depend on the individual plan. Hospital and emergency services remain separate.

Is the residence accessible?

Accessibility varies by property. Specific mobility, sensory, and medical needs must be disclosed and confirmed before the residence is selected.

Can security staff stay onsite?

Specialist security arrangements may be considered, subject to the residence, clinical plan, privacy, legal requirements, and written scope. Their role must not interfere with care.
