Private Care, Structured Around the Individual

Entering treatment is a significant clinical and personal decision. At THE BALANCE Rehab Clinic, every aspect of care, including its structure, duration, and cost, is discussed with clarity, discretion, and respect.

Our fully private residential program starts at CHF 120,000 per week.

Following a confidential initial evaluation, we recommend the treatment structure best suited to the client’s clinical needs, medical requirements, treatment history, privacy considerations, and personal circumstances. This may include a different level of care when appropriate.

What the Fee Reflects

The fee reflects the dedicated clinical resources, privacy, and coordination required for each client. The precise scope is defined in the individual treatment proposal and may include:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessment
  • An individualized clinical treatment plan
  • Individual psychotherapy and specialist trauma treatment where indicated
  • Psychiatric and medical oversight
  • Medical detoxification support when clinically indicated
  • A dedicated multidisciplinary treatment team
  • Case management and coordination of care
  • Private accommodation and supporting hospitality services
  • Nutritional, physical, and integrative support
  • Family involvement where appropriate and authorized
  • Coordination with personal physicians, advisers, or representatives
  • Transition and discharge planning
  • Three months of personalized aftercare

The exact scope of care is confirmed before admission.

Duration and Treatment Planning

Treatment duration is determined individually, based on clinical complexity, psychiatric and medical stability, previous treatment history, risk considerations, and the level of support required following discharge.

Care may follow a phased pathway:

Initial Evaluation → Residential Treatment → Transition → Aftercare

Not every client requires every phase. Recommendations are reviewed throughout treatment and may be adjusted according to clinical progress. Any material change to the agreed scope or expected cost is discussed in advance with the client or authorized representative.

Three Months of Aftercare Included

All residential programs include three months of personalized aftercare to support continuity following discharge.

The aftercare plan is developed before discharge and structured around the client’s clinical needs, environment, responsibilities, and existing support network. Its format and frequency are confirmed in the individual continuity plan.

Where appropriate, aftercare may involve ongoing therapeutic contact, continued psychiatric care, case management, family support, or coordination with clinicians in the client’s home location. Services beyond the included scope or the initial period of three months are discussed separately.

Privacy and Coordination

Confidentiality is integral to the way care is organized. Information is shared only with the client’s authorization and in accordance with applicable clinical and legal requirements.

With authorization, our Admissions and clinical teams can coordinate directly with a family member, family office, personal physician, legal adviser, or other appointed representative. One designated point of contact coordinates communication and practical planning throughout the admissions process.

Travel, arrival, scheduling, and other practical requirements are coordinated discreetly. Exceptional security, medical, travel, or accommodation requirements outside the agreed program scope are reviewed and quoted separately.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you work with insurance providers or other payers?

Coverage varies by insurer, policy, jurisdiction, and individual circumstances. Insurance considerations do not determine our clinical recommendations, and reimbursement cannot be guaranteed. Where applicable, our Admissions team can explain what documentation may be available to support a request for reimbursement. Payment responsibilities and terms are confirmed before admission.

What is not included in the agreed fee?

Requirements outside the agreed treatment scope may be charged separately. These can include unrelated medical or hospital treatment, exceptional security arrangements, private travel, and accommodation or services for accompanying parties. Any additional costs are discussed and approved in advance with the client or authorized representative.

A Confidential Conversation

The first step is a confidential conversation with our Admissions team. Its purpose is to understand the situation, establish whether THE BALANCE may be clinically appropriate, and explain the available options.

When requested and authorized, this conversation may be conducted with the client, a family member, a treating professional, or an appointed representative.
